Q: Can I submit if I live outside the U.S.?

A: Yes.

 

Q: I have an agent but they don’t represent me for my romance books. Can I still submit?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Does Swoon Romance offer advances?

A: Yes

 

Q: Will my book be edited if I am offered a contract?

A: Yes! Our books usually undergo 2-4 rounds of edits. 

 

Q: I self-published this book, can I still submit it?

A: Yes.

 

Q: I wrote a novella or short story, can I submit it?

A: Please see wordcount requirements.

 

Q: My story features LGBTQIA characters. Can I submit it?

A: Yes!

 

Q: My book is a fantasy. Can I submit it?

A: Please refer to genre requirements in the Submissions page.

 

Q: If my work doesn’t get selected for publication, can I revise and resubmit it?

A: No. Unless we specifically invite you to revise and resubmit, we will not accept it.
